About
Nestled in the heart of Houston at 9405 Kempwood Dr, Mytiburger is a standout gyro restaurant that has quickly carved its niche among local food lovers. This unassuming spot offers much more than typical fast food fare—each dish delivers a burst of authentic flavor, crafted with fresh ingredients that elevate the experience well beyond expectations.
What immediately draws me to Mytiburger is its unbeatable value combined with exceptional taste. As one loyal customer pointed out, the perfectly seasoned Mytiburgers here easily surpass the conventional cheeseburgers found in major fast food chains, both in flavor and price. You get not just one but two bacon Mytiburgers for the price of a single burger elsewhere, without any compromise on quality or satisfaction. This balance of affordability and quality is a rare find in today's dining scene.
Diving deeper into the menu, the al pastor stands out as a signature highlight. It's a genuine recipe, rich with savory pork accented by the sweet tang of pineapple, delivering a harmony of flavors that dance on the palate. The carne asada and pozole also hold their own as recommended dishes, praised by visitors for their depth and authenticity. The care and precision in seasoning these dishes speak to Mytiburger’s dedication to Mexican culinary traditions, skillfully blended with the vibrant spirit of Houston’s diverse food culture.
Beyond the food itself, what truly enhances the Mytiburger experience is the warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive service. Regular patrons fondly mention servers like Hilda and Imelda, whose polite and kind approach leaves a lasting impression. The cozy, nostalgic vibe of the restaurant complements the delicious menu perfectly, creating a comforting space that feels like a home away from home.
While Mytiburger opts out of cocktails and adds a small surcharge for credit card payments, the food remains the undeniable star of the show. From late-night visits to casual dinners, the lively yet relaxed environment invites you to savor every bite and every moment. Whether you're craving a juicy gyro, a perfectly crafted taco, or a memorable late-night snack, Mytiburger offers a genuine, flavorful experience that's tough to beat in Houston’s bustling food landscape.
“ This place has very quickly become my favorite. Everything on the menu is so reasonably priced and tasty. The Mytiburgers served here beat regular cheeseburgers sold at any other fast food chain in taste and in price. All of the big fast food burger chains have to nerve to be asking 12$ for 1 semi decent overpriced burger. Here i get 2 Bacon mytiburgers for 12$ and what a flavor difference fresh ingredients makes! This food will make your mouth happy and your stomach sing, I haven't had a bad meal here yet. Beef burgers that actually taste like beef, none of that imitation beef they sell at "name a fast food place" Breakfast is superb too. I need to try more things from the menu but after a long day its hard to order anything else but thier Mytiburgers Workers are very pleasant and they make the food very fast too! The decor is charming, its like eating in a 1970's diner somewhere in the midwest but not in a bad way. 10/10 ”
“ The food here is amazing! We enjoyed every single morsel of everything we ordered. The al pastor is genuine with pineapple in it. The flavors in each dish were perfect. Simply perfect. They do a 3.95% charge if you pay credit, which I think sucks, but I'd still go back. No cocktails here, but the food is the star anyway. Absolutely will return. It's a quaint spot. ”
“ Come here after midnight and boy will you have fun! Sure! Here’s a fun and casual Google review you could post: Ended up at Lido Guadalajara in Chicago around 3am and it was wild in the best way. The vibe was chaotic but alive—people dancing, music blasting, definitely not your average late-night food spot. Ordered the birria queso tacos and they hit hard. Super flavorful, cheesy, and exactly what you want when you’re hungry and half-delirious in the middle of the night. If you’re looking for a low-key meal, this ain’t it—but if you want an unforgettable 3am adventure with good food, Lido delivers. ”
“ Hilda was serving us and she was so polite and nice and she took care of us we come here almst twice a week!!! Thank you Hilda for the great service!!!! We will come here again and again!!!! Great Mexican restaurant ”
